Our lounge features comfortable seating, excellent ventilation, with a full-service bar. The bar is staffed with experienced bartenders who are all unique in their craft. Whether you want a classic cocktail, a nice pour of fine bourbon or scotch, or perhaps a cup of coffee that we slowly brew from freshly ground coffee beans, you are sure to enjoy your experience. Our retail cigar staff and bar staff are always available to recommend a nice cigar/spirit pairing.
WHAT WILL YOU FIND ON OUR BAR
The highlight of our bar menu is The Captain’s List which includes bottles such as Blanton’s Gold & Blanton’s Straight from the Barrel. You will find several Pappy Van Winkle selections, EH Taylor, Woodford Double Double Oaked, Jack Daniel’s Sinatra Select and several selections of Weller. On any given day you could find Old Forester Birthday Bourbon, Sazerac Rye 18 Year, and William Larue Weller available at our bar.
Of course you will find many classics at our bar including Eagle Rare, Blanton’s, Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, Woodford Reserve, Old Forester, Crown Royal and many more. We also feature brands from many great Tennessee distilleries. If you like fine rum, we feature Ron Zacapa (Poppa P’s favorite), Papa’s Pilar and others. Of course you will find a fine selection of Scotch, Vodka, and Gin and beer.
Our cocktail menu includes our popular Old Fashioned, Espresso Martini’s, Margarita’s, Manhattan’s, and Whiskey Sours, just to name a few. We encourage you to try our Signature Cocktail, The Poppa P, created by our own Executive Bourbon Steward, James Szuch.
SPECIAL EVENTS
Events are a highlight at Poppa P’s. Cigar industry veterans including Tim Ozgener and Nick Perdomo and others have been featured at our cigar events. We also hold incredible tasting events featuring some of the biggest brands in the spirits industry. Texas Hold’em is held every other week, and they are always a great time. Our monthly singer-songwriter shows always pack the lounge to see and hear some of Nashville’s finest up and coming entertainers.
